A view overlooking the dam with the Maluti and Witteberg Mountains in the background sets the tone for an unforgettable weekend on an apple and cherry farm for your exclusive event.
A passionate management team with the mission to create dream weddings ensure a memorable occasion for your special day.
At a private Bridal and Groom Suite, the couples can make all the necessary preparations before the ceremony begins. The bride and her wedding party will commence with a beautiful walkway over the dam from the Bridal Suite, where the family member or friend will be waiting to hand her over to her husband-to-be. This tranquil staging area sets the mood and tempo for the wedding.
Outside weddings are very popular with options on

the lush grass surrounding the aisle and the dam with the beautiful sandstone mountains. If your ceremony is on the deck over the dam, the guests will have a breath-taking view of the Maluti mountains being the ceremony’s backdrop.

In the Cherry Orchards which will charm your guest and will provide an experience they will never forget:

In the event of rain, we have a plan B with the ceremony that will be held in the Sandstone Chapel with the dam and mountains as a beautiful backdrop.

Following the ceremony, your guests will be escorted to the covered outdoor patio of the Venue where the cocktail and canape hour will be held. It is here that your guests will socialize with appetizers and welcoming beverages while overlooking the dam and taking in the sun as it sets over the Witteberg Mountains and the Maluti Mountains.
Once the bride and groom are ready to be announced, your guests will be directed to our Reception Area for seating arrangements. Here, your party will toast, dine on preparations from our chef, and dance, while having access to a cash bar situated in the corner of the venue.
Uitzicht Game Lodge
The modern entertainment hall can cater up to 120 guests. There is a bar area overlooking the swimming pool and Lapa. This area has breath-taking views of the Maluti Mountain range. Your wedding day at Uitzicht will offer an occasion full of wonderful memories. The venue is designed to ensure that the wedding couple and their guests become part of the scenery and beautiful views. The buffet is served in the dining hall while our Chef’s prepare a variety tantalising and mouth-watering meals. Quotations are available on request.
For the nature lovers an outdoor garden wedding reception around the Pool, Garden and Lapa area can be arranged to suit your unique tastes, and smaller weddings.
The stunning views of the mountain range overlooking the venue are incredible for your wedding depending on you and your partner’s unique tastes. The romantic bush chapel situated in the main camp is the perfect setting for the adventurous, bush-loving couple seeking a natural surrounding backdrop for their ceremony.
Outdoor wedding functions can be moved to one of our function rooms in the event of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances. We have an open cave which is available for smaller wedding or functions should an occasion arise. Toilet facilities are available at the Cave sight.
There are 80 beds available and in the event of our accommodation being fully booked, alternative venues can also be organised to meet your accommodation needs. We are prepared for any event.

Do you want to have an extraordinary birthday celebration in true Greek style or perhaps a Mexican party, A Spitbraai with traditional “ vetkoek, pap en sous” etc. or a more formal buffet in our restaurant, tell us your preferences, we can do it!
Contact us for your next gathering, it could be small, friends getting together, stork tea, kitchen tea or a special birthday, a celebration or an intimate wedding. The Inn can cater from 60 to 110 guests. Note that the venue hire prices vary depending on the decor specifications, a number of guests, as well as a number of guests, booked in at the hotel.
